After the conference on Sunday, we'll be holding a free community information session exploring the role of doulas in birth and beyond. The session will include:
What doulas really do in pregnancy, birth and postpartum
How doulas work alongside midwives, doctors and allied health
Insights from doula training schools across Australia
Space for your questions - whether you're a parent, health professional or curious about becoming a doula
A marketplace of sponsors, trade tables and community providers
You are welcome to attend and local doulas are encouraged to stay to help answer questions from families and promote their services. Doors open at 2:30pm, 4pm finish.
