This talk with include discussion, stories and sharing about Indigenous birthing places, practices and experiences and how some of this knowledge has been lost and what needs to be done to advocate for local Indigenous birthing areas in Melbourne.

I am a mother of 2 and a mature age student midwife at the Australian Catholic University, with a variety of birthing experience within our current culture.
I am passionate about indigenous birthing practices and advocating for birthing areas for indigenous women.
