I am passionate about empowering women in birth, and for women to have opportunity for birth to be a healing process, I am very fortunate to live and work in rural Australia, and provide care for families here for over 20 years. About Marie Louise Lapeyre Marie-Louise has been a midwife for 22 years in many different settings including homebirth, tertiary and private hospitals, South Sudan.
She lives near Daylesford where growing food and medicinal plants has become a direct connection of reciprocity with life. She has a daughter and 4 grand-children. She is fierce advocate to the babies seeing birth from the perspective of pre and perinatal psychology and haptonomy, seeing birth as a powerful rite of passage for the whole family. She sees herself as a traveler on a journey dedicated to kindness and to reverence to the power of the feminine |
