Through chatting and storytelling, Dr Ronnie Moule and  Marie-Louise Lapeyre will be addressing the current birthing situation,  advocating for women birthing in small rural and large regional hospitals with reflections on continuity of care and our own self care.

About Dr Veronica Moule

I am a GP obstetrician working in birthing in Castlemaine, and mother of 4, all born at home 
I am passionate about empowering women in birth, and for women to have opportunity for birth to be a healing process,
I am very fortunate to live and work in rural Australia, and provide care for families here for over 20 years. 

About Marie Louise Lapeyre ​

Marie-Louise has been a midwife for 22 years in many different settings including homebirth, tertiary and private hospitals, South Sudan. 
She lives near Daylesford where growing food and medicinal plants has become a direct connection of reciprocity with life.
She has a daughter and 4 grand-children. 
She is fierce advocate to the babies seeing birth from the perspective of pre and perinatal psychology and haptonomy, seeing birth as a powerful rite of passage for the whole family.
She sees herself as a traveler on a journey dedicated to kindness and to reverence to the power of the feminine
