Virginia weaves together the history, folklore, science, and practical wisdom of using herbal medicines in pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Together, we’ll also get hands-on by creating some simple remedies you can take home to support yourself and those you care for.

Virginia Maddock has been a doula for 20 years and a herbalist for 26 years. She has also been teaching Junior Herbalist Club for homeschooled kids since 2024.
Virginia loves bringing her two big passions together: supporting women through the making, birthing, and nurturing of babies, + the gentle power of herbal medicine, to offer holistic care for the women she serves.

Doula Network Australia Inc. is the national association for doulas and student doulas in Australia. We provide peer support, professional development and advocacy for our members. Networking is a powerful tool that can strengthen and unify the doula community. We can be a powerful influence for good if we work together.
